2 tsp oil
1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 slit green chillies
3 cups whey
salt and to taste
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes

  1. To make whey soup, heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies, whey, salt and pepper, mix well and bring to boil.
  3. Add the paneer and coriander, mix well and simmer for 30 seconds.
  4. Serve the whey soup hot.

  1. 1 1/2 ltrs of milk gives 4 cups of whey.

How to Make Whey

  1. To make whey at home recipe, rinse a deep non-stick pan with ¼ cup of water and quickly simmer it for 2-3 minutes.
